A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Thoughtful answers.

How do semaglutide and tirzepatide compare?+

Both are once-weekly GLP-1 receptor medications that help regulate appetite and blood sugar. Semaglutide targets GLP-1 receptors, while tirzepatide is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist that studies have shown may produce greater average weight reduction. Your clinician evaluates your health history to recommend the best option. Read our clinical review on Semaglutide vs. Tirzepatide.

What is the difference between oral and injectable semaglutide?+

Injectable semaglutide is administered once weekly under the skin, while sublingual oral semaglutide is taken daily by dissolving under the tongue. Injections generally offer higher bioavailability, while oral options provide a needle-free daily routine. Learn more about routine and absorption in our guide to Oral Semaglutide vs. Injections.

How do I know which treatment to choose?+

You don’t need to have a medication picked out. Explore a category that fits your goals, then share your health history during intake. A licensed clinician determines which options, if any, are appropriate for you.

What happens after I complete my intake?+

A licensed clinician reviews your information. They may need more details or a consultation before making a treatment decision. Completing intake does not guarantee a prescription.

What should I have ready?+

Have a list of your current medications and supplements, relevant medical history, and any questions you want to discuss. Your intake may request additional information based on the care you’re seeking.

Will I definitely receive medication?+

No. Your clinician may determine that medication is not appropriate or recommend another next step. Treatment decisions are based on your individual health needs.

How do monthly prices and billing work?+

Monthly pricing is based on four-week (28-day) periods. A prepaid plan’s monthly equivalent is a comparison amount; the full upfront charge appears on the card. Select Learn more to review payment options. ED options are priced by pill pack, without a subscription. Review the full charge on each card and the final billing terms before paying.

Do I need health insurance to use Sovi?+

No insurance is required. Sovi operates on a direct cash-pay model with transparent pricing and zero surprise fees or recurring membership costs. You can also pay using your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card at checkout.

What are the qualifications of Sovi's care providers?+

All clinical evaluations and ongoing prescription care are provided by board-certified and state-licensed healthcare clinicians (NPs, MDs, and DOs) through an affiliated nationwide clinical network covering all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Clinicians are primary-source verified and credentialed following rigorous NCQA-aligned quality standards.

What are compounded medications?+

Compounded medications are prepared by a pharmacy for an individual patient’s prescription. They are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. Your clinician can explain the options and their risks.

Who prepares and ships my medication?+

If prescribed, your medication is dispensed by the pharmacy responsible for your prescription. Its identity and contact details appear with your dispensed medication. Sovi does not manufacture compounded medications. The product images are illustrative; packaging and labeling may vary. See our pharmacy partners in the Terms of Use for complete licensing and facility details.

Is my medical information and treatment private?+

Medical intake and clinical records are handled through the separate hosted intake and patient portal. Sovi staff do not access clinical records. Use the patient portal for medical questions, and read our Privacy Policy for privacy contacts and how information is handled.

When will my medication arrive?+

Delivery depends on clinician review, any additional information needed, pharmacy processing, and shipping. A delivery date is not guaranteed. Use your patient portal for questions about your order.

Can I get care in my state?+

Services are available in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Specific medications and therapies vary by clinical appropriateness and state and federal requirements. Not every treatment is available in every state.

What if I have questions after starting treatment?+

Use your patient portal to contact your care team about your treatment, instructions, or follow-up needs. Do not change your dose without clinical guidance. The portal is not an emergency service; call 911 for a medical emergency.

How do cancellations and refunds work?+

For subscription services, request cancellation through your patient portal at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Refund eligibility depends on timing and whether services or medication have been provided. Read the Cancellation & Refund Policy in the footer for the full rules. Review the applicable terms presented during enrollment before authorizing payment.
